Hi! I’m Amanda and I’m here to tell you that you are not a failure if you don’t work out everyday and don’t drink the trendiest green drinks. I’ve been in the health and wellness field as a certified athletic trainer, public speaker, and program manager since college. I started Everyday Wellness as a way to teach real people how to mix practical wellness into their workspaces & everyday lives.
I don’t have a set program I repeat weekly, monthly, or yearly. I never give the same speech twice. I encourage enjoying life to the fullest and finding ways to feel good in this overwhelming and competitive world. And I’m all about what you need, when you need it, and how you need it.
People spend an average of 38.7 hours at work, with 73% of millennials report working over 40 hours a week. Add in the time it takes you to get there and back, plus all the things that are waiting for you at home (hello dirty dishes in the sink!). That’s a lot of time in your day that isn’t focused on ‘being healthy’ and after a few years that can start to take a toll on your physical & mental health. Low back pain, shoulder pain, migraines, etc,. can take over your life. But what if the answer to a happy, healthy life with good habits is building aspects of health and wellness into your workday?
My work history with companies & individuals ranges from one on one coaching to large scale companies of 400+ employees. Depending on your needs, I can create a simple PDF poster with helpful information or a full blown workplace wellness program to lower your L&I outcomes and improve employee health & wellbeing- or anything in between! Health & wellness isn’t a one size fits all world, so let’s focus on making your workspace perfect for your individual goals.
