ANGELA RENZETTI – LICENSED ACUPUNCTURIST & EAST ASIAN MEDICAL PRACTITIONER
Hi! My name is Angela and I am an East Asian Medical Practitioner (licensed acupuncturist) and Chinese & Western herbalist. I love getting people back to mind, body and spirit balance by treating not only the symptom, but the whole person using acupuncture, cupping, moxabustion and herbal medicine. I also use Western herbs on a physical and energetic level and teach classes on herbal medicine!
My goal in treatment is to meet people where they are at. Over the years many people have come to me not feeling seen or heard, and creating a safe space for this is very important to me as a practitioner.
When did you know that this is what you wanted to do? How did you discover it?
In my other life, I was a Chinese to English translator and worked in Asia for many years. Over time this work lost its meaning and I was getting sick often so I sought help from herbal medicine and began practicing yoga with an acupuncturist. I felt such a huge shift in my psyche and body and I became inspired to change my path! The thought that I could continue a more meaningful path but still hold on to some of the Chinese language and culture I had grown to love, was very beautiful to me. I also had a disabled brother growing up that I took care of often, and I think my love of helping others began at that young age.
Another large part of my healing journey and moving into this work took place returning from Asia and reconnecting with the land here in the PNW that I loved so much as a child. The plant medicine here is really incredible and wants us to reconnect.
What do you wish other people knew about what you do?
I can treat, but not limited to, pain management (acute & chronic), digestive health, gynecology, and emotional health especially grief, trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, stress and the LGBTQIA+ community.
I also do Facial Rejuvenation which is like an acupuncture face-lift! It can be an amazing alternative to things like Botox and treatments with harsh chemicals.
What is the most rewarding part of what you do?
It’s an incredible experience being a part of the healing journey – sometimes we forget what it was like in the beginning and to have that perspective gives us the opportunity to give others hope.
How could someone’s life benefit from what you offer?
I want my patients to feel like we are a team and that I truly care about their health and well-being, which means I love working with other practitioners and creating community. I want people to feel hope that they can feel better and through our relationship they can feel empowered to help themselves moving forward.
What inspires you?
People’s willingness to heal. Plants. Music. Dance. Cooking!

Testimonials for Angela
I recently had my first acupuncture session with Angela and was amazed by how she made me feel totally heard and supported and also quickly zeroed in on the needs of my body. She also recommended me some herbs to take for sleeping issues and after a week I’m now sleeping through the night again. I’d highly recommend Angela to anyone!
