What is herbalism, and how do we even begin on this journey? Having studied herbalism for many years and being a researcher before delving into my profession as an acupuncturist, I have found that there are many ways to study herbalism, and it is important to have a good foundation. In this class we will discuss ethics, differences in types of preparations of herbs and how to use them, storage & materials, how to understand literature (what is Materia Medica), some principles in diagnosing, resources and a few herbs to start you out with (Nettles, Calendula, Chamomile, Lemon Balm & Oats). This is a great class to help you understand where to begin with herbs and to help you find resources to continue your journey!

Cost is $20. There are no refunds, returns or exchanges due to the prep time for these classes. However, please contact me in case of an emergency!

This class will be online using WebEx (very similar to Zoom). You will receive a link and instructions before the class begins on how to join (it’s a quick download). I will also send you a handout which you can print or you can just listen and take notes!
